Our  History

 Where we come from

Since 2005, AIDS Hope has been reaching churches, schools and communities with vital preventative messages about HIV and AIDS, while appealing to these groups to become involved in the care of those already infected and affected. Through these messages, people’s attitudes were transformed as they learned to value and care for themselves and the lives of others. In recent years, God has allowed us to expand the work that we are involved in by moving into the community of Mamelodi.

Meetse a Bophelo Centre

Jesus stood up and cried out: “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
John 7:38

In 2009, we moved into Mamelodi to live and work, impacting both our neighbours and the larger community. The name of our centre is “Meetse a Bophelo” which means in one of the local languages “Fountain (or water) of life.” It is the desire of our hearts to help carry the living water that Christ offers and let it flow into the lives of needy people, refreshing and healing as it goes.
